🗳️ Statewide Ballot Issue

  • Issue 2: A proposed constitutional amendment authorizing the state to issue up to $2.5 billion in general obligation bonds over 10 years for public infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, water systems, and wastewater facilities. This measure aims to continue the State Capital Improvement Program and the Local Transportation Improvement Program, which have supported nearly 4,500 projects across all 88 counties in Ohio over the past decade.

📜 Local Ballot Measures

Bucyrus

  • Issue 3: Renewal of a 0.5% income tax levy for six years to fund street and infrastructure improvements, including maintenance of roads, curbs, gutters, and related equipment.

Crestline

  • Issue 4: A new 4.5-mill property tax levy to generate approximately $340,000 annually for fire and ambulance services. This equates to about $158 per $100,000 of assessed property value.

Galion City School District

  • Issue 5: A proposed 3.5-mill property tax levy to raise approximately $998,000 annually for permanent improvements, such as facility upgrades and equipment. This would cost property owners about $123 per $100,000 of assessed value.

  • Issue 6: A bond issue of $1.4 million to fund the construction and equipping of a new ambulance facility. The associated 0.2-mill property tax would cost about $6 per $100,000 of assessed value and be repaid over 29 years.
