Just to clear things up. I’ve been told Fankhauser, his alleged PAC and Elmo have shared a post when I addressed council during public participation. My comment was solely about council considering reducing or removing the out of town workers city income tax credit.
NO ONE should be forced to pay double the rate of someone who works in Bucyrus. I did mention that normally once a levy is passed, when it expires they almost always put it back on the ballot as a renewal so you’re technically not paying more money.
Somehow Fankhauser, his fake PAC, and Elmo have shared that as if I’m against the street levy renewal. As of now I will be voting for it, until they remove this out of town workers credit. After that it will probably be a no for any future levies.
If they want to increase the revenue it should be a raise in taxes for all people working NOT just the out of town workers. I did vote for the safety forces levy in the last election but unfortunately it didn’t pass.
Funny both Fankhauser and Elmo have blocked me but used my comments at the council meeting to ask that people vote no on this levy. Why is the president of our council campaigning against this??
Who cares what Elmo does or says it’s usually the same old BS repeated, but a council president campaigning against the street levy renewal??
Hopefully it shows every person in this town he has no business sitting in that seat and he shouldn’t hold any type of position in our city government ever again.
