Councilwoman Vicki Dishon Endorses Clarissa Slater for Bucyrus City Council At-Large

Bucyrus, OH – Bucyrus City Councilwoman Vicki Dishon has officially announced her endorsement of Clarissa Slater in the upcoming Republican primary for the at-large council seats. With four candidates on the ballot—Robert Taylor, Jim Mee, Ray Thitoff, and Slater—only three will secure spots on the Republican ticket for the general election.

Dishon, who has served on the council and is not seeking reelection, emphasized Slater’s commitment to transparency, fiscal responsibility, and community engagement as key reasons for her endorsement.

Fake Press Release Placeholder:

“After careful consideration, I am proud to endorse Clarissa Slater for Bucyrus City Council At-Large. Clarissa has demonstrated a strong commitment to our community and has the experience, leadership, and vision necessary to help guide Bucyrus forward. Her work ethic and dedication to representing the voices of our residents make her the right choice for this position. I encourage all Republican voters to support Clarissa in the upcoming primary.”

Slater, who has been an active member of the community and a vocal participant in recent council discussions, has positioned herself as a candidate focused on responsible governance and accountability. She is currently serving on the ad hoc committee and has been a strong advocate for citizen involvement in local government.

With the primary election approaching, Dishon’s endorsement could play a crucial role in shaping voter sentiment as Slater competes against Taylor, Mee, and Thitoff for one of the three available spots on the Republican ticket.
