A 31-year-old man from Galion has been indicted on a charge of gross sexual imposition following an alleged incident involving a minor.
According to court records from Crawford County Municipal Court, Steven Douglas Hunt was originally charged after an alleged incident that occurred on or about March 7, 2026, in Crawford County.
The case was filed in municipal court on March 9, 2026, before being bound over to Crawford County Common Pleas Court.
On March 10, a Crawford County grand jury returned an indictment charging Hunt with gross sexual imposition, a felony of the third degree. The indictment alleges that Hunt had sexual contact with a victim who was less than thirteen years of age.
Hunt was arraigned March 12 before Judge Sean Leuthold. Court records show Hunt’s bond was set at $150,000 cash or surety. Conditions of the bond include no violations of law, attendance at all court hearings, and no contact by any means with juveniles.
Hunt remains in custody at the Crawford County Justice Center.
