Court Recap: Misdemeanor Sentences, License Suspensions Highlight Bucyrus Municipal Docket

Bucyrus Municipal Court handled a busy docket of non‑traffic misdemeanors during the most recent reporting period, imposing fines, jail time and license suspensions on defendants accused of violence, theft and other offenses. Felonies, unclassified misdemeanors and minor‑misdemeanor traffic citations were excluded from this round‑up.

Domestic violence and assault

  • Dustin T. Blankenship, Bucyrus – pleaded guilty to domestic violence (M‑1). He received a 180‑day jail sentence with 176 days suspended and a $100 fine. He was assessed $477 in court costs and is prohibited from using drugs or alcohol and remains subject to random testing and searches.
  • Terynda L. Adams, Galion – pleaded guilty to assault (M‑1). She was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 30 days suspended (150 days to serve) and owes $844 in court costs. Adams must complete anger‑management counselling, pay restitution by Feb. 1 2026, avoid drugs and alcohol and submit to random testing and searches. A review of her jail sentence is scheduled for Sept. 25 2025.

Protection‑order, receiving‑stolen‑property and other first‑degree misdemeanors

  • Corey D. Kunkle, Galion – admitted to violating a protection order (M‑1). He received a 180‑day jail term with 177 days suspended, was fined $50 and assessed $360 in costs. Kunkle is barred from drugs, alcohol and related paraphernalia and is subject to random testing and searches.
  • Marino J. Eldridge, Applecreek – entered a no‑contest plea to receiving stolen property (M‑1). Eldridge was fined $100 and ordered to pay $335 in costs. He received a 180‑day jail term and must remain drug‑ and alcohol‑free, submit to random testing and searches and return for a review hearing Sept. 25.
  • James L. Heathscott, Farmingdale, N.Y. – pleaded guilty to aggravated menacing (M‑1). He received a 180‑day jail sentence with 166 days suspended, a $100 fine and $310 in costs. Heathscott must abstain from illegal drugs and is subject to random testing and searches. A separate criminal‑damaging charge was dismissed.
  • Chandler L. Lust, Galion – pleaded guilty to aggravated menacing (M‑1). He was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 164 days suspended and fined $100, with $369 assessed in costs. Lust must remain drug‑ and alcohol‑free and is subject to random testing and searches. He also pleaded guilty to theft (M‑1), for which he received a $100 fine and $9 in restitution; there was no jail time on the theft charge.

Other misdemeanors

  • Haylee M. Riley, Bucyrus – pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct (M‑4). She was fined $250 and given a 30‑day jail sentence that was fully suspended. She must complete anger‑management counselling, pay restitution by July 28 2027, avoid drugs and alcohol and is subject to random testing and searches. Riley also pleaded guilty to using a fictitious registration (M‑4) and was fined $500 plus $125 in costs.
  • Margaret A. Fife, Crestline – pleaded no contest to criminal trespass (M‑4). She received a $100 fine (suspended) and was assessed $215 in costs.
  • Sierra L. Spade, Mansfield – a resisting‑arrest charge (M‑2) against Spade was dismissed. She admitted to disorderly conduct (M‑4) and received a 30‑day jail sentence, fully suspended, and a $250 fine (with another $250 suspended). She must abstain from drugs and alcohol, take prescribed medications and is subject to random testing and searches.
  • Vincenza Landriscina, Crestline – entered no‑contest pleas on two cases. For failing to provide identifying information (M‑4), she was fined $100 with $150 in costs and received 30 days in jail, with 28 days suspended. For obstructing official business (M‑2), she was fined $100 plus $335 in costs and given a 90‑day jail term with 78 days suspended. Two disorderly‑conduct‑related charges were dismissed. Landriscina must abstain from drugs and alcohol and is subject to random testing and searches.
  • Cameron R. Castle, Galion – pleaded guilty to trespassing (M‑4). He received a 30‑day jail sentence, fully suspended, a $25 fine (with another $25 suspended) and was assessed $285 in costs.
  • Haylee M. Riley, Bucyrus – pleaded guilty to using a fictitious registration (M‑4) in a separate traffic‑related case. She was fined $500 and ordered to pay $125 in costs.
  • Tiffany S. Wyeth, Bucyrus – pleaded guilty to physical control of a vehicle while under the influence, a first‑degree misdemeanor. She was fined $375 and assessed $385 in costs, and her driver’s licence was suspended for 180 days (May 3–Oct. 30 2025). Wyeth must abstain from drugs and paraphernalia, submit to random tests and searches and may not operate a vehicle without a valid licence or insurance. Charges of OVI refusal (M‑1) and failure to control (minor‑misdemeanor) were dismissed.
