State Representative Riordan McClain presented a formal proclamation to Park Director Cole Potts, recognizing the district’s efforts and commitment to outdoor access. Scott Butterworth, Manager of the Division of Wildlife District 2, offered remarks on the evolving wetland landscape and the trail’s environmental significance. City Safety-Service Director Tommy Starner also spoke, sharing the city’s enthusiasm for the project and its potential to enhance recreation and wellness for residents.
