Scott Butterworth, Manager of the Division of Wildlife District 2, offered remarks on the evolving wetland landscape and the trail’s environmental significance. City Safety-Service Director Tommy Starner also spoke, sharing the city’s enthusiasm for the project and its potential to enhance recreation and wellness for residents.
