From prison policies to Polaris slides, here’s what’s buzzing (and swarming) across the Buckeye State
Slick City brings ‘waterless slides’ to Columbus
A new indoor park has landed near Polaris, and it’s trading splash for speed. Slick City Action Park opened Monday at 1170 Polaris Parkway with 15 “waterless slides” designed to mimic the thrill of a water slide—without the water. Wilson has been indicted on 14 counts, including two counts of aggravated murder with death penalty specifications. Other charges include felony murder and assault on a peace officer. He remains in jail on a $5 million bond.

In May, two Ohio prisons began testing tasers for corrections officers. Now the department is evaluating whether to implement the program statewide. The move is intended to increase safety inside state correctional facilities.
