Retired Judge from Morrow County to Oversee High-Profile Arraignment in Crawford County.
As The Shireman Saga continues, FreeWire has learned that Carolyn Shireman’s arraignment is set for Friday, February 28, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. in Crawford County Common Pleas Court. Multiple sources have confirmed that retired visiting Judge Howard E. Hall, from Morrow County, will be presiding.
Judge Hall may be best known in the area for presiding over the Jason Tupps rape trial. Sources inside the courthouse have questioned the decision to bring in Judge Hall, as financial crimes are not necessarily his area of expertise, and he is widely regarded as a “lenient” judge.
This year, Judge Hall received the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Distinguished Rating, a recognition indicating widespread respect among his peers for his professional achievements and ethical standards. Stay tuned for breaking news on the Shireman case. FreeWire will be present in the courtroom for tomorrow’s arraignment.

Howard E Hall is a terrible judge. He does not follow the law, and he lied in his decision making. He also did not care when a foster girl was raped in foster care.
