Bucyrus, OH – Two Ohio residents have been charged in connection with the disappearance of 17-year-old Isabella Phillips, who was reported missing from New Sewickley Township, Pennsylvania, and found safe in Bucyrus on Saturday night.

Johnathan Crowe, 25, of Mansfield, has been charged with felony human trafficking by the Mansfield Police Department. Ashlynn Quaintance, 19, of Bucyrus, is facing multiple charges filed by the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office. Both individuals are currently in custody.

Phillips was last seen on Friday morning walking near Glen Eden and Zeigler Roads in New Sewickley Township. Authorities believe Crowe traveled from Ohio to Pennsylvania to pick up the teen.

On Saturday around 2:00 p.m., Bucyrus Police were alerted that a suspect connected to Phillips’ disappearance was at a local fast food restaurant. Officer Wireman assisted a Pennsylvania investigator in interviewing the individual. Later that evening, around 9:30 p.m., Phillips was found safe at the suspect’s residence just outside Bucyrus city limits. The suspect was taken into custody at the scene.

The investigation, led by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed. New Sewickley Township Police Chief Gregory Carney emphasized the collaborative effort of numerous agencies and volunteer organizations in locating Phillips safely .

Phillips was reunited with her family late Saturday night. Further details about the suspects’ relationships to the teen have not been disclosed.
