BUCYRUS — Firefighters responded early Wednesday morning to a house fire on 610 Prospect Street in Bucyrus. The blaze was reported around 6:00 a.m., waking nearby residents as multiple engines and emergency vehicles arrived on scene.
According to a source with the Bucyrus Fire Department, everyone from the affected home is believed to be safe. When asked if everyone was okay, the source replied, “I believe so.” Firefighters remained on scene throughout the early morning hours to ensure the fire was fully extinguished.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage have not yet been released.
