FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — August 20, 2025

Bucyrus, OH — Since stepping into her role in June 2025, Victoria Caldwell, the first Executive Director of Crawford County Mentors, has been connecting with schools, churches, and civic organizations to share one simple but powerful truth: when caring adults invest in the lives of young people, the whole community grows stronger.
The program began as the vision of Matt Crall and Jamey Gregory, and gained early momentum thanks to the encouragement and guidance of Brad DeCamp and Paula Brown of the Crawford-Marion ADAMH Board. With the support of The Community Foundation for Crawford County and the Galion Community Foundation, Crawford County Mentors is building connections between dependable adult volunteers and students in grades 6–12. The commitment is small—just four hours a month for one year—but the impact can last a lifetime.
Mentors and mentees meet in safe, welcoming environments after school, on evenings or weekends, or even during the school day. Special program highlights include a Kickoff Event, quarterly activities, and an Annual Dinner to celebrate successes.
