Clarissa Slater has been appointed by the Crawford County Republican Central Committee to fill the City Council At-Large seat vacated by Carolyn Shireman.
When asked about her appointment earlier tonight, Mrs. Slater had this to say: “I want to sincerely thank the Republican Central Committee for their trust and support in appointing me to serve our city. As a mother of two small children, they are the reason I became involved in the civic responsibility of actively participating in city government. Every family in Bucyrus deserves better than what they’ve received. They deserve not just transparency, but real accountability from their representatives. I’m committed to delivering both and leading the path to a culture of collaboration, accountability, and results within City politics.”
More details to come.
