Appearing separately from the Crawford County Jail via video link in front of Magistrate Timothy Roston was married couple Robert Reynolds, 47, and Anita Reynolds, 41, both of Bucyrus.
The couple was indicted on multiple charges related to the alleged sexual abuse of two victims, which prosecutors say began when the children were between the ages of five and seven and continued over several years, between the approximate dates of July 12, 2015 and December 6, 2017.
Robert Reynolds faces four counts of rape, all first-degree felonies, as well as charges for corrupting another with drugs, sexual battery, and multiple counts of child endangerment. His bond was set at $1.5 million. Defense attorney Jerry W. Thompson has been appointed to represent him.
Anita Reynolds is charged with one count of rape, two counts of corrupting another with drugs, sexual battery, and endangering children. Her bond was set at $1 million. Attorney Jennifer Harmon has been assigned to her defense.
Both defendants remain in custody at the Crawford County Jail. FreeWire will continue to monitor court filings and provide updates when a preliminary hearing is scheduled.
